The swim course will start from Cappuccini beach, Peschiera del Garda. You will swim for 200 meters into the lake where a first mark will make you turn right towards the port of the city.
You’ll get to the port of Peschiera and swim in the heart of town. From there you will go through the canal that runs along the walls of the City until you reach the exit of the swim course expected to be at Porta Brescia bridge, at the entrance of the historic center of Peschiera.
The bike course consists of a 40 km single lap that involves the three provinces of Verona, Mantua and Brescia. You will leave behind Peschiera del Garda, going through the countryside of Ponti sul Mincio (MN). From there athletes will ride through the Morainic hills of Garda lake near Monzambano (MN), reaching the ancient walls of the charming medieval village of Castellaro Lagusello. Then you will have to overcome the following Olfino climb to reach the road Cavallara. At the gates of Solferino (BS) turn right towards Pozzolengo (BS) where you will drive along the bypass to point finally towards the Santuario della Madonna del Frassino. In Boschetti (VR) you’ll be directed to Dolci to return to Peschiera del Garda retracing, in the reverse direction, the first 3 km to the initial transition area.
The run course takes place on a multi-lap course consisting of two laps. You will leave the transition area, located at the top of the parking Porta Brescia, and you will continue uphill towards the sports field area of Peschiera del Garda. From there you will head towards Porto Vecchio and you’ll run along the Mincio River emissary of Garda Lake, and plunge into the surrounding nature. You will arrive at the mark that will make you turn back to the city centre, running through a green area next to the heart of the city, around the walls. Finally, you will come back to the historic centre. The Finishline is expected to be in front of the City Hall of Peschiera del Garda, at Piazzale Cesare Betteloni.
